The LingLong LLD10 truck tire differs in its application sphere from most similar tire products offered by this well-known Chinese manufacturer today. The fact is that this model is designed for operation on the driving axles of dump trucks, concrete mixers and other special wheeled equipment used in various industries. Due to quite specific features of application, this tire is distinguished by increased resistance to aggressive environmental influences, as well as excellent traction and coupling properties not only on asphalt roads, but also on sandy, earthy and rocky coatings.
Universal tread pattern
One of the key features of the LingLong LLD10, due to its specific operating conditions, is the original design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. It is characterized by the presence of a large number of individual elements - blocks of complex polygonal shape and massive size. They form three longitudinal ribs, thanks to which the tire demonstrates reduced rolling resistance and good directional stability.
Wide central rib
Of the three longitudinal ribs, the central one is distinguished by a very significant width, which was achieved by increasing the size of the blocks located in this part of the tread. Such a design made it possible to significantly expand the support surface, which, on the one hand, led to an improvement in traction, and on the other hand, provides a more even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. This, in turn, increased the carrying capacity and resistance to uneven wear.
