Description LingLong LLA928
The LingLong LLA928 truck tire is designed for use on the steering axles of highway tractors engaged in intercity and interregional transportation. The specific conditions of use necessitate the presence of a number of design features in this model, thanks to which it demonstrates low rolling resistance, excellent directional stability, and high maneuverability.
Multi-rib design of symmetrical tread pattern
Most of the operational qualities of this model are a direct result of certain design features of the symmetrical tread pattern. Its key feature is the presence of five longitudinal ribs, three of which form the central part, and two - the shoulder areas. Each of these individual tread elements is distinguished by massive dimensions and high resistance to dynamic deformation. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates not only excellent traction, but also a number of other very important operational characteristics, first of all, excellent directional stability and low rolling resistance.
Short braking distance
Among other characteristic features of this model, it is worth noting the short braking distance even on a wet road. This was achieved due to the design of the central part of the tread, which, as mentioned earlier, contains three longitudinal ribs. The fact is that each of these elements contains a large number of straight lamellas, which, when in contact with the road surface, form a multitude of additional traction edges. At the same time, a significant part of them is located transversely to the direction of movement, which provides the tire with excellent efficiency when slowing down.
Main features of LingLong LLA928 tire
- the tire was specifically created for the steering axle of trucks;
- the multi-rib design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern is optimized for prolonged high-speed driving;
- excellent directional stability combined with fast and precise responses to driver actions are provided by the rigid design of the five longitudinal ribs;
- a large number of lamellas in the central part reduce the braking distance;
- the reinforced design of the shoulder areas reduces rolling resistance, increases load capacity and resistance to uneven wear.
