Description LingLong LLA18
The cargo tire LingLong LLA18 is designed for use on trailer axles of trucks involved in intercity and interregional transportation. Due to its specific operating features, this model stands out for its extremely low rolling resistance, increased load capacity, reliability, and excellent traction properties on both dry and wet roads.
Multi-ribbed tread design
This model is equipped with a symmetrical, non-directional tread pattern, the design of which can be characterized as "no surprises". The lack of original technical solutions in this case can be considered an unconditional advantage, given the specific operating conditions of the LingLong LLA18 tire installed on a trailer or semi-trailer.
The presence of six longitudinal ribs separated by drainage grooves provides the tire with excellent directional stability when moving at high speeds, and the absence of individual elements in their design results in very low rolling resistance. Additionally, it is impossible not to note the massive size of the tread ribs. This design feature results in significant contact patch dimensions, which in turn gives the tire excellent traction on dry roads.
Increased load capacity
As mentioned earlier, this model is favorably distinguished by increased load capacity indicators. They are ensured not only by a robust carcass with a steel cord base but also by some features of the tread pattern. First and foremost, this is the equal size of the four longitudinal ribs in the central part and the reinforced design of the shoulder areas. Thanks to this, the Chinese tire manufacturers were able to significantly optimize the distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, which not only increased the load capacity but also improved the tread's resistance to uneven wear and handling due to the rectangular shape of the contact patch.
Main features of the LingLong LLA18 tire
- The tire is designed for trailer axles of trucks operating in intercity and interregional transportation;
- Six rigid longitudinal ribs improve directional stability and reduce rolling resistance;
- A very long service life due to the increased tread depth and high resistance to uneven wear;
- Excellent traction on dry and wet roads is provided by the large contact patch size and five volumetric drainage grooves.
