Since the LingLong LB01S model was initially developed with operation on various types of coatings in mind, its tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of a large number of very massive individual blocks. Three longitudinal ribs are formed from them, two of which are shoulder zones. This design provides the tire with maximum performance in various driving modes, regardless of the characteristics of the road surface.
Wide central part
The tread pattern of this model contains three longitudinal ribs. The central one is a single row of polygonal blocks with very massive sizes. Thanks to this, the tire has been given several important properties. First of all, these are excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction. At the same time, their level remains high when moving on sand and mud, thanks to the large distance between the blocks, due to which the tread is self-cleaning from soil particles.
Another advantage of this central part of the tread pattern design is a significant increase in the size of the contact patch, as well as optimization of pressure distribution over it.
Increased number of traction edges in the shoulder areas
Unlike the central part, the tread pattern in the shoulder areas is distinguished by the presence of a large number of traction edges. They are formed during movement by a multitude of relatively small trapezoidal blocks. At the same time, they are spaced at a significant distance from each other. These design features provide the tire with increased traction off-road.
