Description LingLong GreenMax Winter Grip (Нешип)
LingLong GreenMax Winter Grip — a model designed for owners of inexpensive passenger cars that are used daily in a mixed cycle: dense urban traffic plus high-speed suburban highways. It relies on modern elastomeric mixtures and tread geometry that maintains its working properties over a wide range of winter temperatures.
Stability in turns
When designing the areas responsible for lateral stiffness, extensive lamellization was used. The shoulder areas have an open design with a large number of individual elements — this is a traditional solution for a V-shaped tread. The key difference is the increased width and height of each block. Due to their massiveness, these elements work like monolithic ribs, effectively resisting bending when entering a turn and making sharp maneuvers. numerous transverse edges act as active hooks. They are responsible for longitudinal traction and adhesion characteristics on snow, reducing the braking distance.
Drainage system
On a winter road, the danger is not only ice but also a water-snow mixture. In the model, the grooves have an asymmetric slope against the direction of rotation. Thanks to this, the water-snow mixture is literally thrown out of the contact area. The internal volume of the grooves has been increased by 18% compared to previous models in the line, which guarantees cleaning of the tread even in deep puddles or "mash" of thawed snow. Therefore, the tire, even without studs, perfectly holds the vehicle on a winter road.
Key features of LingLong GreenMax Winter Grip:
- V-shaped tread with pronounced symmetry provides directional stability on icy and snowy surfaces;
- optimized compound with increased silica content maintains elasticity at low temperatures and is resistant to abrasive wear;
- shoulder blocks of increased width prevent tread folding in turns, improve steering response, and reduce the risk of lateral skidding;
- a large number of long lamellae guarantee confident acceleration and short braking.
