Arrow-shaped blocks of the central longitudinal rib

One of them is the numerous blocks located in the very center of the LingLong GL699 tread, where they form a longitudinal rib. Despite the presence of a large number of gripping edges, this tread element is distinguished by very high resistance to dynamic deformation. It is provided by the presence of a rigid connection between all the blocks. Thanks to this design feature, this model demonstrates excellent directional stability, as well as fast and accurate responses to the driver's actions, which significantly simplifies the process of controlling the vehicle.

Excellent grip properties in the longitudinal direction

In addition to the rib with arrow-shaped blocks in the central part of the tread, there are two more similar elements. They also have a block structure, but their tread edges are located at a less acute angle relative to the direction of movement. This design feature made it possible to improve the efficiency of acceleration, especially on wet roads. At the same time, the significant inclination of the edges makes it possible to significantly reduce rolling resistance.

High braking efficiency

The shoulder zones of the tread also have a block structure. However, the blocks that make them up are distinguished by more massive sizes and a transverse arrangement of gripping edges. This made it possible to achieve maximum braking efficiency, especially on wet roads.
