Description LingLong D928
The LingLong D928 truck tire was specifically designed for the driving axles of trucks that are actively used in both summer and winter. Its wide range of applications is largely due to its universal tread pattern, which is highly effective in any weather conditions and road characteristics. Other characteristic features of this model include high fuel efficiency and excellent resistance to abrasive and uneven wear, making its operation very profitable and economically justified.
Rigid Central Rib
The tread pattern of this model features five longitudinal ribs, the central one of which has a very rigid structure. This was achieved due to the absence of breaks throughout the entire length of this tread element. Additionally, the central longitudinal rib has a double structure. This design provided this part of the tread with very high resistance to dynamic deformation. In combination with the absence of transverse traction edges, this made it possible to achieve excellent directional stability and reduce rolling resistance.
Block Design of Shoulder Zones
In contrast to the central part, the shoulder zones of the tread pattern of this model have an open design, featuring a large number of rectangular blocks. These blocks form two longitudinal ribs, which further improved directional stability. Additionally, the numerous traction edges formed by them are mainly located transversely to the direction of movement. Due to this, the tire demonstrates high efficiency, both during acceleration and braking. These features are especially pronounced when driving on slippery roads due to rain or snow.
Main Features of LingLong D928
- The tire is designed for the driving axles of trucks;
- The universal tread pattern, which has excellent performance in any weather conditions, provides the possibility of year-round operation;
- Low rolling resistance, stability, and reliability at high speeds are ensured by the rigid double longitudinal rib in the center of the tread;
- The open design of the shoulder zones, each consisting of two rows of rectangular blocks, provides excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction.
