Description LingLong D925
The LingLong D925 truck tire was designed for use on the drive axles of highway tractors and tourist-class buses. A key feature of this model is the combination of fairly narrow specialization with a wide range of applications. This is made possible by the ability to operate not only in the summer but also in the winter. This is mainly due to the universal tread pattern, which contains an increased number of traction edges.
6-rib tread design
The tread pattern of the LingLong D925 model is distinguished by an increased number of longitudinal ribs. There are six of them, four of which form a very wide central part, and two are shoulder zones. Each longitudinal rib is a row of separate blocks of a quadrangular shape. This design provides the tire with a sufficiently low rolling resistance, as well as excellent directional stability regardless of weather conditions and road surface characteristics.
Excellent traction properties on any surface
As mentioned earlier, this model has an increased number of traction edges. They are formed during movement by numerous blocks located both in the central part and in the shoulder zones of the tread block. In addition, a significant part of the traction edges is formed by a multitude of wavy-shaped lamellas located on each of the individual tread elements. Since most of the edges are located transversely to the direction of movement, the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction, both on asphalt and on snowy and icy surfaces.
Main features of the LingLong D925 tire
- the tire is designed for installation on the drive axles of trucks and buses;
- an increased number of traction edges provides the tread with high efficiency, both on summer and winter surfaces;
- excellent directional stability due to six longitudinal ribs;
- a multitude of transverse wavy lamellas additionally improve traction on wet, snowy, and icy roads;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning due to a large number of longitudinal and transverse drainage grooves passing around the tread blocks.
