Open tread pattern design
Since this model was developed taking into account the specific operating conditions in winter, it was equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern with an open design. It contains a large number of individual elements that form six longitudinal ribs. This structure provides the tire with a number of important advantages, the main ones being the large contact patch size and excellent directional stability.
Dual blocks of the central longitudinal rib
One of the key features of the tread pattern of this model is the construction of the tread center, a significant part of which is occupied by a very wide longitudinal rib. It consists of individual blocks connected by a rigid bridge. This design feature gives these tread elements very high stiffness, thanks to which the central part of the tread is highly resistant to dynamic deformation, which in turn leads to a reduction in rolling resistance and improved directional stability.
