Developed for intense operation in regional and interregional trunk transportation, the Lanvigator DV002 model is designed for installation on the leading axles of commercial cargo vehicles. Emphasis was placed on the balance between wear resistance and stability of traction-slip characteristics throughout the life cycle.

Traction and Control

The basis is a deep tread with an increased block structure. Each block has lamellas that work like micro-grips. This solution increases the efficiency of longitudinal grip and also gives predictability to handling on wet surfaces. Numerous grooves between the blocks provide active water and mud drainage, preventing hydroplaning.

Contact Patch Design and Pressure Distribution

The designers achieved an optimal contact patch shape, where the load is distributed evenly across the entire area. This is achieved not only by profiling the tread, but also by precise calculation of the carcass, minimizing the difference in internal pressure across the contact zones. The result is the absence of spot wear, increased mileage, and stable traction at any speed.

Tread Life

A rubber compound with optimized polymer density is applied to the tire. This provides high resistance to abrasion and cuts. The compound retains its elasticity at elevated temperatures.
