I Zen RV Stud KC16 is a winter tire for SUVs from the well-known Korean company Kumho, which is perfect for harsh Russian winters. With over fifty years of experience in developing automotive tires and the most advanced technologies used in the production process, Kumho is able to produce truly high-quality products with good winter road characteristics.
Its main feature is the use of a unique rubber compound in the tread, which includes various polymers that provide elasticity, allowing the tire, first, not to freeze and maintain its elasticity at low temperatures, and second, to extend its service life due to even distribution when moving. Therefore, the tire is durable and long-lasting. The tread also includes high-dispersion silica, which improves traction on the road and helps to save fuel consumption.
The design of the tread pattern of the Kumho I Zen RV Stud KC16 tire has a directional character, which provides good traction with the road surface. A longitudinal rib runs along the center of the tire, which guarantees high directional stability and stability on snowy and icy roads. Multiple lamellae are responsible for even better traction with the road, as well as the shortest braking distance, fast acceleration, and maneuverability of the vehicle when cornering.
The tire also has good characteristics in terms of water drainage. Wide zigzag-shaped grooves effectively remove water and wet snow from the contact patch with the road surface, minimizing the risk of aquaplaning.
Kumho I Zen RV Stud KC16 is a good choice of winter tire for harsh Russian winter conditions.
