Description Kraiburg K19
The commercial tire Kraiburg K19 is designed for trailer equipment. It is used in long-haul transportation. It reduces the operating costs of trucks due to excellent fuel efficiency and long service life even in the most difficult conditions. In motion, it is favorably distinguished by stability at high speed and when maneuvering, and low tendency to aquaplaning.
The tread part of the protector has an optimized profile. Under load, the contact patch increases and takes on a square shape. As a result, the coupling properties are improved, and the level of abrasive impact on the protector, on the contrary, is reduced, increasing the life of the tire. It is worth noting the increased size of the shoulder ribs. This allows the pressure to be distributed over the road surface more evenly, reducing the rate of tread wear. Narrow continuous ribs in the central part reduce rolling resistance and improve directional stability at high speed. The water drainage grooves located between them contain special wavy protrusions. They expel stones and other foreign objects, preventing damage to the protector.
Key features:
- the optimized tread profile improves traction and wear resistance;
- narrow tread ribs in the central part improve directional stability and fuel efficiency;
- increased reliability due to special "stone ejectors" in the water drainage grooves.
