Description Kleber Kapnor 4
Although the French company Kleber cannot be attributed to the number of leaders in the global tire industry, its assortment often includes quite successful models. One of them is the Kapnor 4. This winter tire was developed taking into account the harsh climatic conditions of Northern Europe and Russia. It is for this reason that it has a very large number of traction edges, spikes, and a rubber compound that retains its elasticity even in very severe frosts.
Reliable traction on icy surfaces
This model is characterized by excellent traction characteristics, primarily on ice. They are provided due to several features in its design. First of all, this is the studding scheme, in which the spikes form 14 continuous rows during movement. In addition, the tread pattern has several thousand lamellas. These miniature elements give the traction on ice even greater reliability and stability.
Excellent traction on snow
The above-mentioned lamellas are cut into all blocks of the tread, which are relatively small in size. This solution allowed the developers to significantly increase their number, and with it, the number of traction edges they form. Due to their significant height, they demonstrate the greatest efficiency when driving on snow, providing the Kleber Kapnor 4 tire with good traction with it. In this regard, it is impossible not to note the design of the shoulder blocks. Their lateral surface is also dotted with numerous facets. This significantly improves the tire's ability to overcome deep snow.
Main features of the Kleber Kapnor 4 tire
- several thousand lamellas and a 14-row studding system provide excellent and reliable traction on icy surfaces;
- numerous blocks of small size increase traction properties on snow;
- increased resistance to slushplaning due to the large size and number of drainage grooves;
- the arrow-shaped central tread rib has a solid structure, which improves stability and handling responsiveness at high speeds.
