Description Киров КИ-115
The Kirov KI-115 commercial tire was designed for trucks used in various industrial fields, primarily in construction. This model is perfectly suited for operation on both regular roads and any type of off-road terrain, demonstrating excellent traction, passability, and reliability. Much of this is due to the technical solutions, which, despite their simplicity, are extremely efficient.
Open tread pattern design
The versatility of this model is largely ensured by the tread pattern design, which contains a large number of individual elements. Their shape and size are chosen such that the tire demonstrates excellent performance on various types of surfaces.
In particular, the central part of the tread features the most massive blocks of complex polygonal shape. Their significant size increases the contact patch, optimizes the distribution of external pressure on it. In turn, the arrangement of most of their edges at a large angle to the direction of movement and rounded corners reduce rolling resistance, increase the level of acoustic comfort.
In turn, the blocks of the shoulder zones are arranged in such a way and have such a shape that, during movement, very long edges of adhesion are formed. They start in the central part and end on the tire's sidewalls. Due to this, as well as the large distance between the blocks, it demonstrates excellent passability, especially on earth and sand surfaces.
Rubber compound resistant to aggressive effects
The tread compound of this model contains a number of components that give it high resistance to any aggressive effects of the external environment. This provides the tire with excellent reliability throughout its entire service life, which, thanks to its resistance to punctures and cuts, is quite long.
Key features of Kirov KI-115
- Open tread pattern design with a large number of individual blocks provides the tire with excellent efficiency, both on the highway and off-road;
- Massive central tread blocks improve directional stability, increase the size of the contact patch, and, due to the significant inclination of the formed edges, reduce rolling resistance and noise levels;
- Numerous shoulder blocks increase passability.
