Description Kelly KTR
The Kelly KTR commercial tire is designed for high-capacity vehicles. It is installed on trailer axles. It is characterized by extremely low rolling resistance, wear resistance and aquaplaning.
Optimized tread pattern
The tread part of the tread features a closed design, formed by five solid longitudinal ribs. The massive size and absence of breaks give these elements very high resistance to deformative changes. As a result, the tire demonstrates directional stability and stable traction properties when driving at high speeds. Another significant advantage of this design is the even distribution of the load across the contact patch. This significantly increases resistance to uneven wear and further reduces rolling resistance.
Zigzag drainage grooves
Another distinctive feature of the tread is the original Z-shaped form of the drainage grooves. It expands the functionality of these elements, as it prevents the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations. In addition, there are special notches at the points of angle bending. They further reduce the risk of aquaplaning and improve the efficiency of the tread when slowing down.
Key features:
- installed on trailer axles of trucks;
- closed tread design with five wide longitudinal ribs reduces rolling resistance, improves directional stability, reduces uneven wear;
- Z-shaped grooves prevent aquaplaning, improve acoustic comfort, reduce braking distance.
