The tread of the tire features an increased width, and its profile makes the contact patch even larger. In combination with a pattern consisting of six solid longitudinal ribs, this significantly increases the tread's resistance to abrasive wear. Other advantages of this solution include good directional stability and precise handling at high speeds, reduced rolling resistance, and heat generation. The central ribs contain Z-shaped lamellas. Their tapered edges increase traction and provide intense deceleration on wet surfaces.
