The Kama Alga winter tire for passenger cars is designed to operate in the most challenging climatic conditions, including extremely low temperatures. This model is characterized by reliable traction on snow and ice, ease of handling, effective braking, acoustic comfort, and high mileage.
The directional tread pattern features high density and a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. This allows for maintaining control over the vehicle in the most difficult weather conditions. The dense arrangement of lamellas, the presence of a large number of blocks with very long transverse edges, provides the tire with the ability to very effectively realize traction and braking forces both on snow and on ice. The optimized tread profile increases the contact patch, improving traction and handling on cleaned dry and wet roads.
Key features of Kama Alga (Studless)
- a large number and V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves increases the intensity of water and its mixture with snow removal;
- densely arranged lamellas increase traction and reduce braking distance on rolled snow and ice;
- a special rubber compound retains elasticity up to minus 45 degrees, ensuring the effectiveness of the tread in the most challenging conditions.
