The Jinyu YS72 summer passenger tire is one of the novelties of a fairly well-known Chinese manufacturer in our country. This model is interesting in that it is designed for passenger cars with high clearance and all-wheel drive transmission, i.e. for SUVs and crossovers.
Original asymmetric tread pattern
Since this model is designed for crossovers, it's no surprise that Chinese tire manufacturers sought to make it universal when developing it. This was achieved through the original design of the tread pattern, which features an asymmetric arrangement of elements. It contains several functional zones separated by wide and deep drainage grooves, which allows the tire to demonstrate excellent traction properties on surfaces with very different characteristics. At the same time, the significant volume of drainage grooves allows them to handle the removal of almost any amount of water from the contact patch, thereby providing excellent resistance to aquaplaning.
Increased number of traction edges
Despite being "tuned" for asphalt roads, this model will feel very confident on dirt roads. This is due to the numerous traction edges, many of which are located at a significant angle to the direction of movement. This technical solution, on the one hand, provides good traction properties in the longitudinal direction, and on the other hand, reduces the level of resonant noise and vibrations, thereby improving acoustic comfort while driving.
Optimized rubber compound composition
Like the tread pattern, the composition of the rubber compound was developed taking into account the specific operating conditions of crossovers and SUVs. It includes a number of chemical compounds that have improved the durability of the tread to abrasive and uneven wear, as well as to any aggressive effects, from punctures to cuts.
Main features of the Jinyu YS72 tire
- The tire was specifically designed for use on SUVs and crossovers;
- The original design of the asymmetric directional tread pattern provides excellent traction in any road and weather conditions;
- The increased number of transverse traction edges, formed by the numerous tread blocks, allows for confident movement on both asphalt and dirt roads;
- Four deep and wide longitudinal drainage grooves improve resistance to aquaplaning.
