As a result, a huge number of micro-studs are formed, which literally "bite" into ice and snow crust. Elasticity Chemistry
The manufacturer has adapted the rubber compound recipe to work in a wide temperature range. Two key components have been introduced:
- silica — responsible for the microporosity and flexibility of the compound at subzero temperatures;
- a package of synthetic elastomers — increases elasticity and resistance to mechanical stresses that occur at elevated temperatures.
As a result, the compound maintains its working viscosity even in a wide temperature range, stably adapting to the microprofile of the road. This factor critically affects the coupling and traction properties.
