Excellent traction properties

The tread pattern of the Hifly HH105 contains four longitudinal ribs. Each of these elements has a large number of traction edges. In the central part of the tread, they are formed due to numerous S-shaped lamellas cut through its entire depth. In turn, the shoulder areas contain a large number of special notches, thanks to which the contact patch is provided with additional traction edges. At the same time, all of them are located predominantly transversely, which is why the tire demonstrates excellent traction properties in the longitudinal direction.

Low rolling resistance

As mentioned earlier, the tread pattern of this model contains four longitudinal ribs. Due to the absence of any gaps throughout their length, as well as the very high stiffness of these elements, the tire has a very low rolling resistance. Also, these design features provide it with excellent directional stability, and in the case of installation on the steering axle, it provides handling.

Reinforced shoulder areas

Unlike the longitudinal ribs in the central part, similar tread elements located in the shoulder areas are distinguished by increased resistance to dynamic deformation, which is ensured by their high structural stiffness. This design makes it possible to give the contact patch a practically rectangular shape, while maintaining it unchanged regardless of the mode of movement and the characteristics of the road surface. Thanks to this, the carrying capacity and resistance of the tread to uneven wear are increased.
