The Heidenau Scooter Racing Slick motorcycle tire is designed for use exclusively on racing tracks, which is what it was created for. In many aspects, this model has no analogs. In particular, this miniature motorcycle tire is capable of withstanding prolonged movement at high speeds, up to 200 km/h. Another unique ability of this model is its ability to withstand a load of 200 kg.
Since the Heidenau Scooter Racing Slick motorcycle tire is designed for participation in racing competitions, it, like any other racing tire, is completely devoid of any tread pattern. I.e. this model is designed for dry and clean racing tracks, the grip of which is achieved through the rubber compound. A completely new rubber compound was developed specifically for this tire, which achieves maximum efficiency within a certain temperature range. In other words, this tire needs to be warmed up, only after which it will be able to demonstrate all its capabilities.
After reaching working temperatures, the rubber compound becomes very elastic, allowing the tread to closely fit all the smallest irregularities of the road surface. As a result, the tire literally sticks to the road, providing excellent grip. At the same time, the grip properties remain unchanged at any tilt of the scooter, thanks to the large profile of the tread, which also has an increased width. The wide tread has allowed the size of the contact patch to be maximized, which has had the best effect on the grip characteristics. In addition, the unchanged size of the contact patch has made it possible to achieve excellent feedback transparency.
