Description Heidenau K58 Moped
The Heidenau K58 Moped motorcycle tire is designed for year-round operation and on the most diverse types of coatings. However, this is more relevant to the milder European conditions, where, as is known, winter is characterized by frequent temperature transitions to negative values. I.e. the manufacturer developed this model, assuming the possibility of its operation at temperatures not lower than several degrees below zero. In other respects, this moped tire, like no other, is perfectly suitable for use in our conditions.
This model is equipped with a fairly aggressive V-shaped tread pattern, which is characterized by the presence of a huge number of individual blocks grouped into five longitudinal ribs. Although such a tread structure can be seen more often on car tires, nevertheless, this solution is perfectly suitable for this motorcycle tire. The most massive tread blocks are located in the center of the pattern. This made it possible to increase the contact patch area, reduce rolling resistance. In addition, the blocks in the center of the Heidenau K58 Moped motorcycle tire tread have high structural stiffness, which increased the directional stability.
It is also impossible not to note the presence of a large number of straight lamellas in the central part of the tread. This technical solution has already proven its effectiveness on many other models of this well-known motorcycle tire manufacturer. The main purpose of these design elements is to increase the efficiency of the drainage system. These lamellas, when moving on a wet road, like car windshield wipers, remove excess moisture, directing it through drainage channels outside the tread. In combination with a large number of wide and deep drainage channels formed by numerous tread blocks, this provides excellent resistance to aquaplaning, which allows for safer movement on wet roads.
Main features of the Heidenau K58 Moped moped tire
- An optimized V-shaped tread pattern allows you to move confidently on the most diverse types of coatings, including snowy ones;
- Numerous tread blocks, located at a significant distance from each other, have given the tire excellent passability;
- Massive blocks, located in the central part, have increased the contact patch, which has had a beneficial effect on the traction properties.
