Description Heidenau K56 Moped
The Heidenau K56 Moped motorcycle tire, thanks to being released in the two most popular sizes 2.50 — 17 43J TT and 2 3/4 — 17 47J TT, is perfectly suited for most modern moped models. Another feature of this model is its excellent operating characteristics, provided by the non-trivial design of the tread pattern.
Its non-triviality lies in the fact that its appearance has features that are more inherent in tires designed for sports motorcycles. This feeling is caused by the unusually large steepness of the profile and the tread pattern.
The tread pattern of the Heidenau K56 Moped unequivocally hints at the possibility of operation exclusively on asphalt roads of general use. The minimum number of gripping edges does not allow leaving hard surfaces, but on them, the tire demonstrates excellent gripping characteristics. To a large extent, this is due to the above-mentioned tread profile, which, despite its sufficiently large steepness, provides a large contact patch area. At the same time, the steepness of its tread allows maintaining the size of the contact patch even at significant tilt angles, which allows for more aggressive cornering.
The rubber compound of the tread also contributes to the excellent grip, which includes only high-quality components. Thanks to this, the tread more tightly hugs all the irregularities of the road surface, which makes the grip even more reliable.
Another key feature of this tire is its water drainage system, which allows for safe movement even on very wet roads. Its high efficiency is ensured by the correct placement and large size of the transverse drainage channels, the curved shape of which prevents the formation of water swirls, which increases the speed of its circulation.
Main features of the Heidenau K56 Moped motorcycle tire
- Stable behavior in various conditions and excellent operating characteristics, thanks to the original design of the tread pattern;
- Large contact patch sizes are maintained even at significant tilt angles, thanks to a correctly profiled tread, which ensures excellent gripping characteristics on dry asphalt;
- Excellent resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to the multitude of transverse drainage channels of curved shape.
