Description Heidenau K36 Vintage Motorcycle
Like other models with the word Vintage in their name, the Heidenau K36 Vintage Motorcycle tire is designed for installation on classic motorcycles, i.e. those released several decades ago, or those designed in the spirit of the design of those distant years. However, unlike most other representatives of the so-called "vintage" line of models, this tire is distinguished by a tread pattern that implies operation exclusively on asphalt types of coverage.
This feature is unequivocally hinted at by the absence of massive blocks in the shoulder areas of the tread, as well as the minimal distance between all tread elements. In addition, the manufacturer itself allows the use of this model not only on old classic motorcycles but also on their fully modern analogs.
One of the key features of the Heidenau K36 tire is the large camber of the tread profile, which allows maintaining a stable contact patch size even at significant motorcycle lean angles. Due to this, it was possible to give the tire's handling stability and clear feedback, which greatly simplifies the management process.
Another distinctive feature of the tread pattern is the structure of its central part, where two longitudinal ribs are located, separated by a wide drainage groove. Since these ribs do not have interruptions throughout the tread, they possess high structural rigidity, which is further increased by a multitude of special reinforcing elements that connect them into a single whole. Thanks to these technical solutions, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability when moving at any speed, which is combined with exceptional handling responsiveness.
Main features of the Heidenau K36 Vintage Motorcycle tire
- The classic design of the tread pattern perfectly suits most road motorcycles of various years of production;
- Two longitudinal ribs in the center of the tread, connected by a multitude of reinforcing elements, provide not only excellent directional stability but also exceptional handling responsiveness;
- High efficiency of the drainage system is ensured by the presence of a large number of water-conducting channels, as well as special lamellas on the surface of the tread blocks, which as a result gives excellent resistance to aquaplaning.
