Description Heidenau K35 Vintage Motorcycle
The Heidenau K35 Vintage Motorcycle tire is another representative of the so-called "vintage" line of models, thanks to which this German manufacturer has gained worldwide recognition. The key feature of this tire is the scope of its application, limited exclusively to classic motorcycle models, on which it is impossible to install modern tires, primarily for aesthetic reasons.
When creating the tread pattern of this tire, German tire manufacturers aimed to provide operational characteristics relevant today, while giving its design features inherent to the Heidenau K35 Vintage Motorcycle tires produced in the second half of the last century. To solve this rather complex task, several original design solutions were used. In particular, the tread was equipped with a large number of individual blocks. To neutralize the reduced resistance to dynamic deformation that occurred as a result of this solution, the tire engineers used special reinforcements. These are conventional stiffening ribs that connect the tread blocks together, which made the handling more stable and reliable.
Since even classic motorcycles are often capable of reaching fairly high speeds, the tread pattern was equipped with four longitudinal ribs, each consisting of individual blocks connected by the aforementioned reinforcing elements, to ensure directional stability.
Another undeniable advantage of this model is the drainage system, which has impressive performance. This was achieved due to the block structure of the tread pattern, which is replete with longitudinal and transverse water drainage channels. The result of this design solution is the tire's excellent resistance to aquaplaning.
Main features of the Heidenau K35 Vintage Motorcycle tire
- Thanks to the use of modern technical and technological solutions, the classic tread pattern has excellent efficiency in any road conditions;
- Four longitudinal ribs provide excellent directional stability;
- A multitude of individual tread blocks form numerous edges of adhesion, which ensures excellent traction, especially on slippery surfaces.
