The Hankook Z232 Ventus RS4 summer tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of compact and mid-size passenger cars. It is distinguished by the use of technologies and materials used in sports tires for road-ring racing. In motion, it is characterized by uncompromising precision in handling, exceptional traction properties at high speed.
The tread pattern is made symmetrical and directional with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. The large size of the blocks and the practically flat profile of the tread increase the contact patch and give it a shape close to square. This improves traction on dry pavement and their stability when maneuvering. The wide longitudinal rib in the center provides precision handling, and two enlarged grooves next to it provide resistance to aquaplaning. The shoulder blocks have a P-shape, which further limits their mobility. Along with the changing angle of the notches in them, this increases stability when maneuvering.
Under the shoulder zones, along its edges, there are special nylon reinforcements. They minimize tire deformation under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. This increases the stability of traction and prevents uneven wear. The rubber compound contains the same components as the compound of racing tires. In particular, this is technocarbon, special resin, and polymers, which improve traction on wet surfaces, increase thermal conductivity, and resistance to abrasive wear.
