The tread compound is made from a rubber mixture with a high silica content and the use of natural rubber. This allows the tire to maintain elasticity even at extremely low temperatures and maintain integrity during prolonged high-speed driving. The V-shaped tread pattern features a large number of drainage grooves. Their reverse direction and increased volume allow water and even heavier meltwater to be drained from the contact patch.
