The Hankook RA58 Vantra Transit summer tire is designed for small commercial vehicles used primarily in urban transportation. It is characterized by increased load capacity, reduced fuel consumption, resistance to damage, as well as improved traction on wet surfaces, "light" handling, and directional stability at high speeds.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the massiveness of its constituent elements, representing a combination of four wide longitudinal ribs. At the edges of the tread, they are composed of large blocks that form elongated transverse edges, which provide high traction and braking intensity on wet surfaces. It is worth noting the presence of a large number of 3D lamellas throughout the tread, adding elongated pointed edges of a curved shape, thereby enhancing the traction properties in rainy conditions. Another important feature is the presence of additional layers of cord under the shoulder areas. This significantly increases the resistance of these tread areas to deformation, which allows the tire to demonstrate stability and handling precision during maneuvering, as well as reduces the risk of uneven abrasive wear of the tread, thereby increasing its service life.
Key features of the Hankook RA58 Vantra Transit:
- a large number of 3D lamellas with elongated curved edges improves traction and braking properties on wet surfaces;
- four wide longitudinal ribs reduce rolling resistance and prevent uneven wear of the tread, providing stable traction and "light" handling on dry surfaces;
- additional layers of cord under the shoulder areas improve traction during maneuvering, provide additional tire resistance to abrasive wear;
- a special rubber compound with increased wear resistance and strength increases the tire's service life in harsh operating conditions.
