Thanks to the high rigidity and massive size of this part of the tread, it was possible to distribute the external pressure on the contact patch much more evenly. As a result, the tire became much better at withstanding the heavy weight of the cargo being transported and also better resisted uneven wear, which significantly reduces its service life.
