The summer tire Hankook K435 Kinergy Eco 2 was released as a replacement for the K425 model, which has proven itself to be one of the best. The new tire is distinguished by an even more pronounced ability to save fuel, a longer service life, and improved traction properties, especially in unfavorable weather conditions.
Improved asymmetric tread
Like the previous model, the tread of this tire is designed in an asymmetric design. However, due to the increased size of the blocks and ribs, it has an increased contact area. At the same time, the optimized arrangement of elements provides an even distribution of the load from the weight of the vehicle. As a result, not only the traction properties have improved, but also their stability when changing driving conditions and road surface characteristics.
Low risk of aquaplaning
Another important difference from the previous model is the increased size of the longitudinal drainage grooves. They have become wider, which allows the tire to resist aquaplaning much better, demonstrating a low tendency to this effect at a higher speed than its predecessor.
Optimized carcass
To a large extent, the fuel efficiency and stability of the traction properties are ensured by the stiffness of the carcass. The breaker located on top is a synthetic cord, the winding technology of which allows it to do without seams and joints. As a result, a very lightweight but at the same time rigid structure is formed, which is resistant to deformation. The carcass itself is distinguished by the use of both steel and synthetic cord. This combination gives the tire a soft ride and improves traction. It is also worth noting the presence of an additional reinforcing cord in the sidewalls. It improves handling, giving the tire's behavior during maneuvering reliability and predictability.
