Description Hankook DL10+
Hankook DL10+ — an all-season model designed for use in long-haul trucking. It is installed on the driving axles, providing improved vehicle performance. It has a high level of resistance to wear, which ensures a long service life. It is characterized by low rolling resistance and provides good contact with the road surface.
To improve traction properties and maintain performance parameters even in conditions of severe wear, a special tread pattern was developed. Computer modeling was used in its creation.
Tread Specifications
The tread pattern features several additions, including connecting bridges located between the blocks of the shoulder zone. They improve the traction properties of the tire and prevent uneven wear.
The four central blocks feature wavy lugs with a slope, which create multiple traction edges, increasing the tire's traction properties and improving handling, including on wet roads.
At the bottom of the central grooves, there are special elements that perform several functions. Firstly, they reduce block mobility, ensuring fuel efficiency. Secondly, they act as a self-cleaning system for the tire, ejecting stones and various contaminants, creating favorable conditions for maintaining traction properties on various surfaces.
