At the same time, the distance between them is large enough for the tread to effectively self-clean from particles of road surface and other objects that get stuck in it.

In addition, it is impossible not to note the massive size of the blocks, thanks to which the Hankook DH15 tire has acquired several important qualities at once. First of all, this is stable and accurate handling, achieved due to the high deformation resistance of the blocks. Moreover, due to the large size, it was possible to achieve a maximum increase in the contact patch area, which had a beneficial effect on the traction properties when driving on dry pavement.

At the same time, their sizes are so large that they perfectly cope with the removal from the contact patch not only of water but also of much more heavy masses of meltwater. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent resistance to both aquaplaning and slash planning, thereby ensuring a high level of safety when driving in unfavorable weather conditions.
