The commercial tire Hankook AU04 is designed for the steering axle of high-capacity buses. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use in urban and suburban transportation with their characteristic frequent stops.

The tread pattern is distinguished by enlarged shoulder zones and their solid structure. The high stiffness of this part of the tread reduces uneven wear and rolling resistance. There are special grooves on the edges of the shoulder zones that prevent tread chipping, thereby increasing the life of the tire. The central part features two wide longitudinal ribs with longitudinal and transverse 3D lamellas.
