The scope of application of the Hankook AM02 commercial tire is the steering axle of special cargo vehicles used in the communal and construction sectors. It is beneficially distinguished by high efficiency on asphalt roads and dirt roads, demonstrating excellent traction and deceleration intensity.
The tread pattern is distinguished by an increased content of gripping edges. A significant part of them is formed by zigzag lamellas present in each block. The polygonal shape of these elements gives the gripping properties high stability. The internal construction of the tire is "borrowed" from tires for construction equipment. A sturdy steel frame provides resistance to impact and high carrying capacity, reducing the risk of tipping the equipment during loading and unloading operations. A 4-layer breaker with a design that limits its mobility, in addition to reducing the risk of mechanical damage to the tread, reduces the heating of the tire during high-speed movement.
