The GT Radial SportActive 2 summer tire is an Ultra High Performance category tire with a corresponding set of operational properties. It is distinguished by uncompromising traction properties, a shorter braking distance on wet pavement, and precise handling at high speeds.
The tread pattern is characterized by the large width of the longitudinal grooves. The increased volume of these elements effectively prevents hydroplaning in the most unfavorable weather conditions. There are elongated transverse edges of blocks at the edges of the tread. They allow the tire to demonstrate significant acceleration and deceleration intensity, especially on wet pavement. It is worth noting the use of a compound in the manufacture of the tire tread, the properties of which were specially selected. It is characterized by the ability to maintain optimal elasticity for maximum traction in a very wide temperature range, starting from temperatures around zero degrees Celsius.
