The second factor that led to this technical solution was noise. As you know, the edges of the tread blocks are the main source of resonant noises and vibrations. By arranging them at a significant angle, and the blocks themselves with a different pitch relative to each other, the North American tire manufacturers were able to overcome this drawback, thereby ensuring driving comfort.

Long service life

This model is distinguished by excellent wear resistance indicators. This is largely due to the tread pattern, which is equipped with massive elements. Their large size allows the blocks to effectively counteract dynamic deformation, ensuring a more even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch. This not only reduced the likelihood of uneven wear development but also increased the tire's carrying capacity.
