The GT Radial Champiro Winterpro 2 Sport winter tire is designed for compact and mid-size passenger cars. It is intended for use in countries with a harsh cold climate. It is characterized by reliability in handling on any winter roads, good snow traction, fuel efficiency, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern has a symmetrical directional design with a V-shaped arrangement of grooves. The drainage elements are distinguished by an increased width, which allows the tread to effectively self-clean from a heavy mixture of snow with water and road dirt. In such conditions, the high edges of the blocks allow for intense acceleration and deceleration, maintaining comfort in driving the car. These properties on icy surfaces are preserved almost completely. The tread contains hundreds of wavy lamellas, forming additional traction edges. The rubber compound based on "silica" provides the tire with elasticity at negative temperatures.
