Waffle lamellas
Almost three quarters of the traction edges are formed not by blocks, but by narrow slots - lamellas located on them. They are located at a distance of several millimeters from each other, which, nevertheless, did not disrupt the rigidity of the tread elements. The lamella walls have protrusions in three planes, which, when in contact with the road, fix them in the open position, limiting the mobility of the blocks at the same time. As a result, both traction on slippery surfaces and handling are improved at the same time.
