Description Goodyear Ultragrip WTD
The Goodyear Ultragrip WTD winter tire is designed for commercial trucks and buses used in regional transportation. It is installed on the steering axle. It is characterized by excellent traction properties on winter roads, reliability, and a long service life.
3D-BIS Lamellae
The tire uses both new and previously applied solutions. The latter includes the 3D-BIS tread lamellation technology. Narrow slits, opening when contacting the road surface, are fixed in a stationary position throughout the protector block area, limiting its mobility. As a result, not only is traction on slippery surfaces improved, but also precise and rapid transmission of multidirectional acceleration forces is ensured, making it easier to control the vehicle in complex road conditions.
Reliability
The tire is favorably distinguished by a long service life even in unfavorable operating conditions. Reliability is due to the operational properties of the rubber compound, which has high strength and resistance to tearing and stretching. Additionally, the tread design optimizes the distribution of external load on the contact patch, making it uniform, which further reduces the degree of aggressive impact on the protector.
