Description Goodyear Ultragrip Max S
The commercial tire Goodyear Ultragrip Max S is installed on the steering axle of highway tractors and trucks. One of the few models in its class that was specifically designed for operation in winter and on mountain roads. It is characterized by improved traction properties on icy and snowy surfaces, high mileage and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern has an open design with five rows of blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that in the contact patch, long transverse edges are formed, which allow for effective braking on any slippery surface. The blocks on the edges of the tread are connected by wide "bridges" that increase their resistance to deformation. This increases stability during maneuvering, provides precise handling, and reduces uneven wear of the tread.
Key features of Goodyear Ultragrip Max S
- increased tread depth and wear-resistant rubber compound provide higher mileage;
- tread pattern with open design improves traction properties on icy and snowy surfaces;
- "bridges" between shoulder blocks improve handling accuracy and stability during maneuvering.
