The tread pattern is distinguished by a high density of lamella arrangement. Narrow slits form hundreds of sharp edges, providing the tire with the ability to accelerate and decelerate intensively on ice and icy surfaces. It is worth noting the so-called "bite edges", special toothed protrusions on the edges of the tread, which further increase the tire's performance on snowy surfaces. The effectiveness of all these elements is significantly increased due to the use of a "Scandinavian" rubber compound in the manufacture of the tread, which keeps the tread elastic even at very low temperatures. Another important feature of this tire is the design of the sidewalls. They are reinforced with an additional cord that prevents deformation under significant weight loads and also reduces the risk of loss of integrity when subjected to strong impact.
