Description Goodyear Regional RHS II +
The commercial tire Goodyear Regional RHS II is installed on the steering axle. It is used in regional transportation. It is beneficially distinguished by high mileage before replacement, efficiency when braking on wet pavement, ease of handling, and directional stability.
The tread area of the tire has an increased size of the zone that is constantly in contact with the road surface. This was achieved by optimizing its profile and tread pattern design. As a result, not only is traction improved, but also better uniformity of pressure from the vehicle's weight on the road surface is ensured. This improves handling and reduces the risk of uneven wear.
The tread pattern is equipped with Flexomatic lamellas. Narrow slits of original shape are made in the blocks that form the central longitudinal ribs. This solution increases the intensity of deceleration on wet pavement, and due to the additional mobility of the elements, reduces the susceptibility to wear. Similar driving qualities are enhanced by lamellas in the shoulder areas.
The drainage grooves have a special zigzag shape. It prevents small stones from getting stuck in the tread. This significantly increases the reliability of the tire, especially on roads with poor pavement quality.
The tread area is made from a rubber mixture obtained using advanced technologies and materials. Its composition includes special polymeric compounds that, at the molecular level, provide high strength, elasticity at low temperatures.
Main features of Goodyear Regional RHS II +
- optimized tread profile provides an increased contact patch area;
- Flexomatic lamellas reduce braking distance, increase mileage before replacement, improve traction on slippery surfaces;
- special shape of drainage grooves prevents stones from getting stuck in the tread.
