The massive deep channels prevent stones, mud, and snow from getting stuck in the tread, ensuring quick self-cleaning and excellent passability on any surface.
Improved Tread Pattern
The new tread pattern of the Goodyear Marathon LHD II+ consists of a large number of blocks of unusual shape. Due to this, the contact area has increased, which has a positive effect on stability and handling. The blocks have sharp edges that "bite" into any surface, minimizing possible wheel slippage, which reduces fuel consumption while driving. When creating the shoulder area, a thicker rubber layer was used, which provided additional protection against side damage and increased stability when cornering.
Innovative Rubber Compound Composition
The new rubber compound contains a large number of new components that significantly improve the tread's performance. The high content of natural rubber increased the elasticity of the tread, ensuring accelerated recovery properties and excellent traction on various road surfaces. Silica fillers increased the tread's wear resistance, resulting in a longer tire life.
