Goodyear Ice Navi SUV – a winter tire from one of the leaders in the tire industry, which was introduced in 2024. The model is aimed at SUV owners who value comfort combined with improved traction properties on snowy and icy roads. The manufacturer was able to achieve such a combination through several factors. Firstly, the use of modern modeling technologies made it possible to create a tread that provides increased stability on slippery roads. Secondly, the application of new additives in the compound has resulted in the stabilization of the rubber at low temperatures, preventing it from hardening. As a result, there is more effective contact between the contact area and the road surface, and the traction and braking properties are enhanced.
The tire is equipped with an abundant lamellar network, which provides increased stability on slippery roads. It is complemented by the sharp edges of numerous blocks with different directions. This minimizes not only longitudinal but also lateral skidding, increasing the level of safety.
Open shoulder areas, as well as numerous channels, contribute to rapid self-cleaning from water, slush, and dirt. This maintains the cleanliness of the contact area and preserves the effectiveness of traction.
As for the compound, it contains a significant percentage of siliceous components along with synthetic polymers. This mixture does not harden at low temperatures, retaining its elasticity. This largely ensures confident fixation of the contact area.
Key features of Goodyear Ice Navi SUV:
- winter tire for SUVs operating in harsh winters;
- numerous block structures, supplemented with lamellae, provide confident passage of icy and snowy sections;
- confident handling at speed due to the developed rib system;
- rapid cleaning of the contact area due to the large network of channels;
- special compound, perfectly adapted for operation at low temperatures
