The commercial tire Goodyear Fuel Max D GEN-2 is designed for long-haul tractors used in transportation over long distances. It is installed on the driving axles. It is characterized by exceptional fuel-saving properties for its class, a long service life with good traction and coupling properties, even on roads with satisfactory surface quality.

The tread pattern is divided into several functional areas. One of them is the central part with densely arranged longitudinal ribs. They reduce rolling resistance, prevent wear, and improve directional stability at high speeds. The curved lamellas in them increase traction on wet surfaces. The shoulder zones, on the other hand, have an open design with large rectangular blocks. They allow the traction effort to be more effectively realized, especially on snow.
