During the development of the tire, technologies "borrowed" from road-racing tires were widely used. One of them was used in the design of the tread pattern. In essence, this is a "rain" racing tire with a minimal number of tread elements. Due to their large size, they possess exceptional resistance to deformation, which improves handling accuracy and directional stability at high speeds. Wide longitudinal drainage grooves allow these properties to be maintained on wet pavement. At the same time, elongated transverse slits allow for intense acceleration and deceleration in such conditions.
