Description Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season
The all-season tire Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season is a high-performance tire designed for use on the most dynamic versions of SUVs and crossovers. It is characterized by sporty precision in handling and stability in turns, reliability of traction on slightly snowy surfaces, and effectiveness of braking on wet surfaces.
The asymmetric tread pattern is distinguished by effective Z-shaped grooves in the outer shoulder area. These elements provide more stable traction on wet surfaces when turning. The massive blocks located here also increase directional stability and precision in handling, preventing rapid tread wear, especially during dynamic maneuvering. Another feature that helps the tire maintain stability on wet surfaces is the TredLock technology. Special "micro-grooves" form sharp edges that easily penetrate the water film on the road surface, providing more reliable traction with it.
The tire's tread is made from a compound whose composition is largely borrowed from road-racing tires. It contains a large amount of "silica", as well as a complex of special polymers. This combination at the molecular level provides the tread with high elasticity at low temperatures, along with excellent resistance to abrasive wear, cracking, and small cracks. An important advantage of this compound is increased thermal conductivity, which allows for a significant reduction in tire overheating during extreme loads, as well as adding some fuel efficiency.
Key features of the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season
- Z-shaped grooves in the outer shoulder area prevent aquaplaning when turning;
- increased precision in handling and stability during maneuvering due to the stiffness of the blocks on the outside, optimization of the carcass and breaker, and the profile of the tread;
- special compound enhances traction on wet surfaces, improves wear resistance, and reduces tire overheating during extreme loads.
