The Goodride CM988 commercial tire is designed for intense and prolonged use in so-called "mixed" operating conditions. The model is efficient not only on asphalt roads but also on dirt roads, typical of construction and industrial sites. The manufacturer recommends it for use on the steering axle, while also allowing its use on drive axles.

The tire's tread has an increased width. In combination with the deep tread depth, this guarantees a long service life in the most unfavorable operating conditions. Its pattern has a closed design with four wide solid ribs. Rigid longitudinal elements improve directional stability and handling accuracy on asphalt roads. S-shaped lamellas on such surfaces reduce the braking distance.
