The Goodride CM980 tire is a cargo model. It is applied to the driving axles of trucks. The unusual tread pattern provides traction. The tread has a large cross-section and consists of three zones: shoulder, central, and middle, which is located between the first two. In the central part, there are two wide grooves that facilitate the removal of slush, water, and snow from the contact patch. Also, these grooves perfectly cool the tread. All the grooves on the tread have a zigzag shape, and the large blocks have a hexagonal shape, such a combination allowed to increase traction and reduce tread wear. During movement, these blocks deform slightly, which prevents skidding and loss of traction. Therefore, the tire wears more evenly and constantly transmits the torque. Additional cooling and traction are provided by the deep large tread in the shoulder area.
