The Gislaved Euro Frost 6 winter tire is designed for most modern passenger cars. This model is available in more than 30 sizes with diameters from 13 to 20 inches. It is characterized by confident behavior on any winter roads, including dry, snow-cleared and icy ones.
The tread pattern, like the previous model, is made in a symmetrical directional design. The key difference from it is the increased number of blocks, which have been reduced in size and their shape has been changed. Now it has more sharp corners and straight lines. At the same time, the block edges have a greater variability in angles of inclination, which made it possible to significantly improve both cross-country and longitudinal traction on snow.
On icy and wet surfaces, stability has also been improved due to the optimized angle of the lamellas. At the same time, the number of grooves has been increased, and wavy elements have been added with straight ones. Providing longitudinal mobility to the blocks, they allow for better control of traction when accelerating and braking on slippery surfaces.
The shoulder blocks have a curved, non-sharp angled elongated shape. The edges formed by them when braking and accelerating compact the snow, improving traction with it. When maneuvering, these elements are very resistant to the deforming effect of lateral acceleration forces, which gives the tire stability.
Main features of Gislaved Euro Frost 6
- wide range of sizes;
- symmetrical directional tread pattern with an increased number of blocks;
- two types of lamellas improve traction on ice and wet surfaces in any driving mode;
- shoulder blocks with curved edges provide efficiency when accelerating and braking on snow.
